RSA Course Online via Zoom (VIC)
This RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) training course is a mandatory requirement in Victoria for anyone involved in the sale or service of alcohol at licensed venues, including hospitality, events, and tourism settings. Delivered online via Zoom, this accredited course equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills to serve alcohol responsibly and comply with Victorian liquor laws.
The course covers identifying intoxicated individuals, creating safe social environments, and understanding legal responsibilities. It includes:
- LCV-approved RSA course delivered via Zoom (6 hours)
- Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond online module via the LCV Learning Hub (1 hour)
Participants must be at least 16 years old to participate. However, certificates are only valid for use once the participant turns 18. Upon completion of both components, students can download their RSA Certificate of Completion via the LCV Learning Hub.
Schedule & Assessment
- Delivery: Online via Zoom (Camera must remain on)
- Assessment: Two stages – 45-min online questions and 3 observed role-play scenarios
- Role-playing includes: Drug Affected, Emotional Distress, and No Food scenarios
Certificate Validity & Refresher
- LCV Certificate is valid for 3 years
- Free online RSA refresher course required every 3 years (accessed via vic.gov.au)
