In Victoria, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training is mandatory for staff in licensed venues. This interactive live Zoom session delivers the LCV-approved RSA course (SITHFAB021), a requirement for your RSA Certificate of Completion.
The course covers how to responsibly serve alcohol, deal with minors and intoxicated persons, and understand your legal obligations within hospitality venues such as bars, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and retail liquor stores.
Following the RSA workshop, students must complete a second online module—Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond—via the Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) Learning Hub.
Schedule & Delivery
- RSA course duration: 6 hours via Zoom
- Online harassment and assault module: approx. 60 minutes
- Certificate valid for three years, then free refresher required
Assessment Details
- Must have webcam on and be visible throughout the course
- Assessment includes multiple-choice questions and 3 role-play tasks
- Passing score: 100%, with 2 attempts

- Must be at least 16 years old at course commencement
- Cannot use certificate until 18 years of age
