Developed by William Angliss Institute in partnership with Liquor Control Victoria, this specialised training course is tailored for licensees, managers, and staff of late-night venues. It addresses the complex challenges of managing venues prone to high-risk situations.
This course helps participants deal with compliance and risk management issues frequently encountered in hospitality settings. Topics include:
- Managing anti-social behaviour and medical events, including overdoses
- Managing security teams and emergency or criminal incidents
- Implementing effective venue systems and preparing for compliance inspections
Course Structure
- Begins with an online learning component focused on Victorian liquor laws and legislative intent
- Upon registration, participants receive login details for pre-course materials and a mandatory online assessment
- Face-to-face training session must be completed before attempting the final quiz and case study
Certificate of Completion
- Digital certificate available after successful assessment completion via the Moodle site
