Paint Lab also presents a UV paint session which makes experimental painting even more interactive.
Watch as the paint fly’s through the air in all its glorious colours, hitting the canvas and splatting the wall, creating drips and splashes of light.
Everything is darkened with the UV creating a beautiful light show as you make your UV art masterpiece.
Note: The canvas may not dry on the day of the activity, you have up to 1 month to collect the artwork from our studios or we can arrange courier to the destination cost subject to the postcode.

Melbourne Paint Lab – Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can parents watch the kids without buying a ticket?
It depends on how busy the session is. If the class isn’t fully booked (fewer than 8 ppl), you're welcome to enter the room, borrow one of our art smocks, take photos, and enjoy the creative fun up close.
However, if your child needs you by their side the entire time, we recommend purchasing an extra ticket to guarantee a spot in the room. If the session is fully booked, we unfortunately won’t be able to accommodate extra people in the space.
2. How long does the artwork take to dry?
Drying time depends on how much paint was used. In general, artworks will dry within 24 hours in summer and up to 48 hours in winter.
3. What happens if paint gets on clothing?
We provide a poncho, shoes cover, etc, but art can get messy! Our paints are mostly washable, but we still recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little creative. If paint does get on your clothes, wash them as soon as possible with warm water.
Pls do not wear your favorite fancy outfit outside for this class.
4. Can we take the artwork home on the same day?
No, unfortunately, the paint will be wet, if you are leaving near by you can take it home flat but not recommended.
5. Is the paint safe for kids?
Yes. We use non-toxic, water-based paints that are safe for children 5 years and up.
6. Do I need to book in advance?
Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during weekends and holidays, as sessions can fill up quickly.
7. How long will you keep the painting if we can’t take it home right away?
We’ll keep your artwork safe and secure for 30 days, ready for pickup during our open hours. (tue-sat. 10-5:30pm) If you can’t make it back in time, we’re happy to arrange delivery for you (additional shipping cost applies).
If we don’t hear from you after 30 days, we’ll assume you no longer wish to keep the artwork, and it may be responsibly discarded to make room for new creations.

We offer a variety of creative workshops at our studio and also online, with mixed-age classes, kids holiday programs, and corporate group workshops! With a focus on having fun while learning new skills, you will learn from only the best professional street artists.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A refund can be requested 2 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$10.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 2 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Blender Studios reserves the right to cancel workshops should the minimum number of bookings not be met.
Weather Contingency: Workshops will run regardless of unfavourable weather conditions.
