Wheel Throwing Class
Discover the joys of wheel throwing in our 2 hour class, perfect for beginners or those wanting to refine their skills.
Under the guidance of our experienced teachers, you'll learn how to center, shape, and form your clay on the wheel, creating your very own unique pottery pieces. Bring along your favorite snacks and drinks for a relaxed, fun atmosphere while crafting your masterpieces!
Note: Ages 12-18 must be accompanied by parent.
Glazing & Firing pieces
When it comes to getting your hands dirty with clay, we like to keep things interesting, which is why we use Mid Fire clay for our classes and workshops due to its exceptional qualities.
Not only is it more sustainable, but it also offers greater versatility when it comes to glazing and firing, ensuring your pieces are not only visually stunning but also functional for everyday use, including being microwave safe.

You will learn
- Centering: Mastering the art of getting your clay perfectly aligned on the wheel.
- Shaping and Forming: Learning how to pull walls and shape your clay into functional forms.
- Technique: Refining your movements to create unique, hand-crafted pieces.

- All clay, tools, and materials provided.
- 2 hours of hands-on instruction from professional pottery teachers. Opportunity to create 1-2 unique pottery pieces on the wheel
- Glazing and firing of up to 2 small/medium pieces included in the price (additional pieces can be fired for $15 each)
