Welcome to the BangPop Kids Thai Cooking Class—a vibrant, hands-on cooking adventure where kids roll, stir, taste and create their own Thai dishes from scratch.
This is real cooking—not a demonstration. Every child gets involved, learns new skills and finishes by enjoying the dishes they’ve made themselves.

Ticket Types & What You Get:
Little Chef (Child) Ticket – $89
Each child receives:
A fully hands-on cooking experience (2–2.5 hours)
Their own cooking station (shared if attending with others)
BangPop apron to wear during the class

Supervising Adult Ticket – $79

- No. We provide all ingredients, equipment and everything needed for the class.
What to wear
Comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes are recommended. Long hair should be tied back while cooking.
Your Teacher
Malcolm Williams is Executive Chef across South Wharf Restaurants and brings years of hospitality experience to BangPop’s cooking classes. His teaching style is relaxed, practical and approachable, with a focus on helping guests understand techniques and flavours rather than simply following a recipe.

Whether you’re joining with friends, planning a team activity or simply keen to improve your cooking skills, you’ll cook, learn and eat your way through the experience.
Classes are held at BangPop, our colourful riverside Thai restaurant in South Wharf, Melbourne.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at BangPop or organised by BangPop must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by BangPop
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give BangPop unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at BangPop classes and events or on BangPop premises. (For use of BangPop marketing materials).
