Join us for a relaxed Matcha & Ceramic Painting Workshop where you'll learn how to prepare matcha and design your own ceramic mug or matcha bowl in a cosy indoor setting.
Perfect for a slow weekend activity, a catch-up with friends, a cute date, or a peaceful solo creative moment.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
We'll begin the session with a gentle introduction to matcha - what it is, where it comes from, and how it has been enjoyed through history. You'll then prepare your own matcha and enjoy a calm moment before moving into the creative part of the workshop.
In the second part, you'll paint your own ceramic piece - choose between a mug or a matcha bowl and create your own design using beautiful colours and simple techniques. You can sketch your design first and then bring it to life with guided support.

You will learn
- How to prepare Japanese matcha the traditional way – sifting, whisking and serving – plus where matcha comes from and how it has been enjoyed through history. Then simple ceramic painting techniques: sketching your idea, layering colours and bringing your own design to life.
You will get
- A calming matcha experience, your own ceramic mug or matcha bowl, all paints and materials, guided support throughout – and your hand-painted piece to take home.
Appropriate for
All ages and complete beginners welcome – children must be accompanied by an adult. Matcha naturally contains caffeine, so parents can decide whether little ones join the tasting. Perfect for friends, couples, families, solo creatives, birthdays and team outings.
Preparation
What to bring
- Nothing at all – everything is provided. Just bring yourself (and a friend!).
What to wear
Casual and comfortable. Paint can mark clothing, so wear something you don't mind getting a little colourful.

You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
