Join a silk painting class, where you'll learn how to paint on natural silk!
You'll enjoy the results and feel proud of your unique accessory in beautiful colours. It doesn't matter if you have never painted before - this five-hour workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced painters alike, and it's a creative meditation for those looking for fun activities to do in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges with friends, family, or even alone.
During this relaxing session, Tatiana, your instructor, will teach you the tips and techniques necessary to create gorgeous scarves made from natural silk. Choose from the provided designs, select your favorite colors, draw the outlines with a magic tube, and create your unique scarf with cold batik dye.
After your artwork is finished, Tatiana steams it to set the dye in a special machine and returns it to you within 45 minutes, or sends it to you via mail the following day. You can wear it yourself, or give it as a gift to friends with great pride and a special feeling!
