Afro fusion is a mixed style with African steps from all around Africa. In this workshop you will travel from west Africa (AZONTO) through Ivory Coast ( coupé décalé ) .All of these wonderful steps are blended with a little bit of house Dance , ragga-dancehall + Afro kuduro to create Afro Fusion .
Afro Fusion is a high energy dance style and suitable for beginners. You will get a killer full body workout as well as learning some African steps!
In this 1.5 hour workshop you will learn afro moves all done to the amazing rhythms out of Africa. The moves are very energetic and athletic but also low and grounded at the same time.
This workshop provides students with new and exciting way to dance , move and shake the body that all ages can enjoy.
We encourage all levels and ages of dancers to attend :) get your friends together and be prepared to have lots of fun !

Jean Chritz is a well-established performer in many areas of dance. Dancer and choreographer of Australia’s premier dance crew ZBOYZ, currently ranked second in the world, and becoming
the first Australian crew to receive a silver medal on the world stage (HHI 2014).
Known for his versatility, clean and dynamic style, Jean’s character and charisma, brings flair and personality to his teaching.
Started out as freestyler, with a unique style and creativity, Jean fuses Modern, Old, Mid and Nu School styles of Hip Hop, including essence of BBOY, popping, locking, party dance, Krump and house.
On numerous occasions Jean has represented in the Hip Hop scene at Australia’s biggest competitions as well as winning countless street dance competitions throughout Australia.

Dance Central offers an extensive range of dance classes and workshops for adults and teenagers at our centrally located Sydney studio.
Styles include Hip Hop, Funk, Salsa, Bollywood, Dancehall, Belly Dance, BreakDance, Burlesque, Samba, Popping, Showgirl, Booty Dance, Tahitian Dance, Hulahoop and more.
Dance Central Sydney requires 48 hours notice via email prior to the start of a class or event for a full refund or transfer. Refunds and transfers will not be processed if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event commencing. We do not offer refunds for missed classes. There are no fees for refunds or transfers. For cancellations prior to the 48 hour cut off, email Dance Central Sydney to organise a refund or transfer
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Dance Central Sydney or organised by Dance Central Sydney must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER - (Incl) ONLINE CLASSES
There is a risk of personal injury associated with dance and exercise.
Dance Central accepts no responsibility for injury caused during online classes or workshops.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit for any Dance Central Online class or workshops.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable, non-slip floor space.
Please make sure any potential obstructions in the vicinity are removed before you start your lesson so you have a nice clear space to dance.
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Dance Central Sydney.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Dance Central Sydney unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Dance Central Sydney classes and events or on Dance Central Sydney's premises. (For use of Dance Central Sydney marketing materials).
Dance Central Sydney requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer.
In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
