Twilight Spotlight Walk - Southern Toadlet
Description
Join Council Biodiversity Officers for a spotlight walk at Bunjil Reserve.
Come and learn how to observe our amazing nocturnal species in their natural habitat. This event is for all experience levels from curious beginners to serious nature lovers.
We will spotlight for possums, gliders, owls and other nocturnal critters. We will also listen for the calls of the Southern Toadlet around Chinamans Gully and discuss the various citizen science and Identification guides for animal observations.
Don't forget to bring your head torch/torch, binoculars (if you have some), a notebook, comfortable walking shoes, rain jacket/warm clothes, and water.
This is a walk, moving along the reserves trail in the dark, including some open areas, observing as we go as we go, so we will be on our feet for the hour and a half.
