Description

Gain confidence in your design and formatting skills in this fantastic and practical workshop with Jane.

This course will enable you to create a variety of design graphics in practical, simple and useful ways, using one of the most popular and affordable software programs, Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as some other programs such as Publisher.

* Pick up essential knowledge about the principles of design, formatting, typography, layers, grids, alignment, clipping, colour and so much more as you gain expert knowledge of these programs.
* Learn how to create professional looking flyers and brochures

Great to improve your skills at work, for small business, or to improve your career prospects.

Make yourself comfortable and set up a desktop or laptop if you have them. A large monitor or dual monitors will be helpful, so you can see more, however this is not a requirement. This will be a fun and very hands on course.

This courses receives Learn Local funding from the Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) board. To be eligible for a funded place you will need to be a Victorian resident.

Refund Policy

Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre requires 48 hours notice via email prior to the start of a class or event for a full refund or transfer.  For cancellations contact Park Orchards Learning Centre to organise a refund or transfer on 03 9876 4381 or courses@parkorchards.org.au 

Refunds and transfers may not be processed if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the event commencing.  We do not offer refunds for missed classes.

Anyone participating in any classes or events organised by Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre must agree to these terms and conditions.

1.) LIABILITY WAIVER

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Park Orchards Learning Centre.

2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at classes and events organised by Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre. (For use of Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre marketing materials).

3.) REFUNDS

Park Orchards Learning Centre requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund or transfer. 

4.) CANCELLATIONS

In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
