Most Tour Companies Read the History Books. Our Family Lived It.
Over a century ago, Alena's ancestor, Victor Frederick Cecil Levitt, stood at the centre of the early mid-mountains community. As the operator of the historic Hazelbrook General Store and Post Office, Victor was the heartbeat of the town — connecting early settlers and travellers across the region. His commitment to country ran just as deep. Victor served in the First World War, and the locals so honoured his service that they named the pristine, cascading Victor Falls in Hazelbrook after him while he was still overseas. He later served again as a Major in the Second World War.Today that same connection to community and place drives everything we do. We don't just guide you through the World Heritage-listed wilderness — we welcome you into our family's backyard.
