About
At SOSU, we believe that sewing is a wonderful life skill and we want to share it with you through our wide range of sewing courses and workshops.
Learning how to alter and mend the things that you have as well as learning the skills to create your own gorgeous garments will help you to be more creative and sustainable. We have a great mix of beginner and skilled sewers of all ages learning at our school. We can also arrange private lessons for those that learn better one-on-one.
We’ll teach you the language of patterns and the essential sewing techniques you need to create piece after piece that fits you! No longer do you need to settle for off-the-rack clothes. Make and adjust clothes to fit your body type and personal style, so that you can feel comfortable and amazing every day.
We believe that anyone can sew! You just need to give yourself the space and time to learn. Our teaching crew will be there to support you along the way. We can’t wait to see what you create.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A transfer can be requested 5 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 1 day before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at School of Sewing and Upcycling or organised by School of Sewing and Upcycling must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by School of Sewing and Upcycling
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give School of Sewing and Upcycling unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at School of Sewing and Upcycling classes and events or on School of Sewing and Upcycling premises. (For use of School of Sewing and Upcycling marketing materials).
