About
Welcome to First Batch Coffee Roasters – where passion meets precision in every cup.
We’re more than just specialty coffee roasters – we’re coffee educators at heart. Based in beautiful Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, we offer a range of hands-on barista courses designed for everyone from curious home brewers to aspiring professionals and new café owners.
Since opening our doors in July 2015, our goal has been simple: share what we’ve learned, demystify great coffee, and raise the bar in barista training. Whether you're chasing your first barista job, fine-tuning your skills for home, or just starting out, we’ve created training options to suit your journey.
Our trainers are seasoned industry pros who live and breathe coffee – and education. Every one of them began behind the machine, and many have gone on to own cafes, judge or compete in barista competitions, and design training programs still used across the industry today.
When you train with First Batch, you're learning from people who’ve walked the path – and still walk it every day. You’re in good hands.
Our training options include:
The Coffee Professional – for business owners
Advanced Barista Techniques
Espresso Fundamentals – for the home barista
Contract Training – tailored for your team
Got something specific in mind? Just ask – if it’s coffee, we’re here for it.
