Description

Learn the art of modern hand embroidery on clothing with Libby Moore of Thread Folk. In this workshop, Libby will teach you a handful of her favourite embroidery techniques that are suited for stitching on clothing. You’ll be given a hoop and fabric to start with so you can practice your work first before committing to your piece of clothing.  Please bring an item of clothing you would like to embroider on to (if you have any questions about which piece of clothing you’d like to use on the day, please email libby at threadfolk@gmail.com). If you're not into the clothes idea, that's totally cool, you'll be able to stitch more traditionally with a hoop and fabric.

You will receive a kit of supplies, which includes all that you need for the workshop. Libby’s book will be available for purchase on the day or before hand when you purchase your ticket (RRP $32.95).
