Selling your stuff online is an awesome way of making money out of your creative passions. To stand out and make sales you need to have good, clear, well lit photos of your products.
Come along to this hands-on workshop to learn simple approaches to lighting, shooting and styling using off the shelf products from Bunnings rather than expensive dedicated photographic gear.
We will be teaching the session at Work-Shop Makery, so will be using the diverse range of products on show there as the subjects for our shoots. We will do everything from small shiny products like jewellery, paintings, small sculptures and fashion on a mannequin.
Our tutor Hamish Ta-mé is an experienced and successful commercial photographer. He shoots for magazines, design firms and direct clients.
He has taught studio lighting and fashion for over a decade at the Australian Centre for Photography and sells his own work online. He has a technical degree in photography as well as a Masters from UNSW.
He is passionate about photography and is working on three personal fine art projects.
