During this 3 hour workshop participants will experiment with simple camera-less photography and darkroom chemistry. With a theme of catching shadows we will use an array of objects, the body and movement to create contemporary photograms on silver gelatine paper. In the likes of Man Ray, Georgia O'Keefe and Len Lye we will use light and shadow to compose our images. We place a strong emphasis on experimentation with the process and thinking outside the box. We will also introduce a few alternative developing techniques.
