When someone mentions Rosé, do you get thirsty butterflies whirling inside your stomach? We know we do, and so dedicating a night to the beautiful pink drink seemed only necessary.
It’s always a delight to sip a glass of Rosé, especially in Spring. But how much do you know about this amazing beverage? This Rosé Tasting is here to teach you all about it. Come attend this session to learn about Rosé from a French wine expert.
Five Rosés from Provence and Australia will be tasted, all coming from incredible domains. You will learn everything you need to know about this delicious wine, from how to drink it to the way it is made.
Whether you fancy dry, sweet or somewhere in between there will be something delicious to suit your tastebuds.
Of course, there will be cheese platters for everyone to enjoy, because we know they’re the perfect match when sipping Rosé.
About the tutor:
Pierrick fayoux is from the Cognac region of France, and grew up in the Loire Valley, famous for its great wines. He was taught from a young age to enjoy good food and invited to share his parents' interest for a top quality pour. After graduating, he joined the wine industry in China, representing many brands of wines for local importers. As a Wine Advisor, he was exposed to wines from all over the world; from famous regions of France, Italy, and Spain but also from beautiful new world wineries experimenting with different styles such as Australia, South America, New Zealand and Africa.
Over the past 5 years, he has represented more than 50 wineries with a wide range of grape varietals and unique winemaking processes creating beautiful products and interesting stories. He has developed a passion for sharing that knowledge with anyone who wants to learn more about wine. He moved to Australia two years ago and now works for Noble Spirits, a local importer and distributor of wine and spirits.
