Resin Jewellery Workshop - Newtown NSW

Learn how to make beautiful resin jewellery! In this three hour workshop you will learn how to mix resin, create effects with pigments, dyes and metallic powders, and create a professional finish for your jewellery pieces. Make two resin bangles and two resin rings to take - or wear - home on the day and show off to your family and friends.

Divided into three sections, the first is a brief tutorial explaining how to use resin to create your own jewellery masterpieces, along with the instructor demonstrating pouring the resin into a mould.

The second part to this workshop is where the fun begins. Choose your colours and designs and then work with our instructor to handcraft two resin bangles and two resin rings.

During the last stage of the workshop, you will hand finish your pieces and get to ask questions about other pieces you may wish to design.

The workshop is taught in such a way that you will learn jewellery making skills that will allow you to continue to make stunning resin pieces long after completing your workshop in the comfort of your own home.

Like to buy a bangle kit? This gives you all the equipment you need to make resin jewellery at home. Choose from a broadband, chunky, organic or cuff bangle style. The kit will be available for you to pick up at the end of your class.

I attended the resin jewellery in Newtown recently and absolutely LOVED it. I had never attended any types of jewellery making courses before and this was a real joy, and I came away with some beautiful pieces. The course was simply presented, accessible in terms of skill level and a really enjoyable few hours. I can highly recommend this to anyone curious about what it takes to get started in resin jewellery making!

I loved the course! There were only 6 of in the class in total which made it really easy to gain help from the instructor. She was extremely informative and showed us lots of ways we could experiment with resin. It's hard to know what the effect will be when mixing colours, so I'd suggest having some pictures of what you like on hand that you can try to replicate or at least use as a colour guide. Some of the colours I created were not what I expected, but that just takes practice.

Great teacher, good space and a decent range of moulds and colours. We made more product than advertised which was AMAZING ! Only problem for me is the ring moulds are too small and that is why I went. Would be good if they could have a wider variety of sizes.

Thanks for the feedback Kylie! We're sorry you couldn't find a mould to fit. We try to offer a range of sizes.
