Rob is an amazing teacher , I absolutely loved this beekeeping workshop! It was such a unique and hands-on experience — rob is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about what he does. I learned so much about how bees live, how honey is made, and the importance of protecting them. It’s the kind of experience that really makes you appreciate nature and the little creatures that keep our world going. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone — whether you’re into sustainability, want to try something new, or just love honey!

My wife got me a voucher for Christmas 2023, to do a Bee course at Bee Sustainable. I already purchase honey and try to support small businesses, and choose not to by from major supermarkets. As a kid, I grew up watching my father take care of our 7 beehives in our backyard. I’ve held fascination for bees ever since. What Robert taught at the class was amazing, I learned so much in the Bee Keeping Workshop, like what determines a Queen Bee to be produced, how much work the Worker Bee girls put in to regulate temperature, and the role of the Drones. Because of this renewed interest, and sharing this joy with my wife and my father, we will within the next 12 months be reacquainting ourselves with creating Bee Hives. Bee Sustainable has an amazing range of items for building bee hives or other items for gifting friends and family. Thank you for the education, and I will be back to learn more. I also enjoyed the artwork on greeting cards by Pink Grasshopper, at the front counter.
