In our beginner-friendly course, you'll master the fundamental steps of Rock'N'Roll with ease, all while building the confidence to shine on the social floor. So, ditch the nerves, dress comfortably, and leave your worries at the door - no partner required, just your willingness to dance your heart out!
It's recommended that beginners start in the first 3 weeks (19 Aug, 26 Aug or 2 Sep) or wait until the next beginners' block to start.

Founded in 2000, this ensemble comprises some of the most skilled, vibrant, young and passionate dancers from various regions of New South Wales. They have had the honour of performing with some of the most talented musicians, artists, and shows, including The Beach Boys, John & James Morrison, The Bloody Beetroots at The Big Day Out, Squared Devision, Dancing With The Stars, The Hot Potato Band, Lanie Lane, Belles Will Ring, Ignatius Jones, Rhonda Burchmore, Monica Trapaga, among others.
Their reputation among fellow Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jive, and Rock’n’Roll dancers has grown over the past twenty-plus years due to their extensive experience in competitions and teaching both locally and internationally.
The Sydney Swing Katz regularly perform at festivals such as Chromefest (The Entrance), Parkes Elvis Festival, Manly Jazz Festival, Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival, Retrofest (Port Macquarie), Crank It Up (Bateman’s Bay), Lady Luck (Katoomba), Roaring 20s Festival (Blue Mountains) and many more.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Swing Katz or organised by Swing Katz must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Swing Katz.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Swing Katz unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Swing Katz classes and events or on Swing Katz's premises. (For use of Swing Katz marketing materials).
