PERUVIAN COOKING CLASS & PISCO SOUR EXPERIENCE 🇵🇪

Discover the vibrant flavours of Peru in this fun, hands-on cooking experience in Melbourne.

After travelling through Peru and exploring its incredible food culture, I brought home the flavours, techniques and stories that make Peruvian cuisine so special.

I was also fortunate to work at the prestigious San Martín restaurant alongside renowned chefs Raúl Modenesi and Héctor Aguilar Valle, learning authentic techniques and recipes that I’m excited to share with you.

And because no Peruvian fiesta is complete without a drink… we’ll also make Pisco Sours!

WHAT WE’LL MAKE

🥭 Tiradito with mango, avocado & leche de tigre 🥔 Causa Limeña with chicken or prawns 🐟 Classic Peruvian Ceviche 🍋 Leche de Tigre, the punchy citrus-chilli sauce at the heart of Peruvian ceviche 🍸 Pisco Sour

This is a relaxed, social and interactive cooking class suitable for all skill levels, including complete beginners.

After cooking together, we’ll sit down and enjoy everything we’ve made. Come hungry!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a Peruvian class that was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was welcoming, vibrant, and full of positive energy. The instructor was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about Peruvian culture, making every moment engaging and enriching. Lola shows this class was more than just educational—it was a joyful celebration of culture. I left feeling inspired, informed, and eager to learn even more about Peru. I highly recommend it to anyone curious about Latin American cultures or looking for a unique, immersive experience.

I had taken the day off work to attend the class and was very excited. I'd received an email confirmation the night before only to receive a casual message the morning of the class saying the class was being scheduled. I asked when it was being scheduled to only to be brushed off. I asked if she was cancelling the class as there was no reschedule date and I could then get a credit but she said she wouldn't. I then pushed to know when I could expect a rescheduled date/time. I was told that day but never received it. Her reasoning was that she had major surgery. I'd only bought the tickets a couple of days earlier so assumed it must have been an emergency surgery or she wouldn't still be selling tickets to a class she couldn't run. Or would she? Seeing as she hasn't removed the classes for sale this coming weekend. I'm starting to see a pattern. And no, I've not received any confirmation that I will ever get to do a class in the near future nor will I be getting a refund. So I may as well have flushed my $100 down the toilet.
