BOILED WOOL JACKET WORKSHOP

Featuring the Tessuti Verona Jacket or Tessuti Berlin Jacket

When the temperature drops, it’s time for a beautifully cosy new layer.

29 May – 10am–2pm - Verona Jacket

13 June – 9am–1pm - Berlin Jacket

Boiled wool is perfect for cool weather — warm, structured and surprisingly forgiving to sew. The raw edges don’t fray, making it ideal for clean, modern finishes. That said, there are a few clever techniques that make all the difference.

Join Megan McKee-Griffith for this focused 4-hour workshop and learn how to confidently sew with boiled wool while creating your own jacket using either the Tessuti Verona Jacket or Tessuti Berlin Jacket pattern.

Perfect for intermediate to advanced sewists ready to tackle outerwear with expert guidance.

Great course. I had to concentrate, but yes you can actually make a boiled wool coat in four hours. I'm glad my first encounter with boiled wool was through this workshop. The seaming techniques are not difficult but were quite new to me, and it saved me a lot of time and tears having an expert nearby.
