Join our delightful 4-week Clay Handbuilding Course at Glaze Galleria!
Experience the tactile joy of working with stoneware clays to create your very own food-safe pottery. You’ll learn to sculpt cups, saucers, vases, and plates using just your hands and basic tools. Plus, get creative with your own decorations using colorful underglazes.
No prior experience is necessary, and with a maximum of 6 students, you’ll enjoy personalized guidance. Bring a friend or come solo to meet new people!
After the course, collect your finished pieces 2-3 weeks later, and don’t miss our optional extra of transforming your cup into a soy candle in a variety of delightful scents.

At Glaze Galleria, we bring the artistry of handmade ceramics into your home. We strive to share our deep love of clay and knowledge, so you can craft pieces with passion and patience.The thing I Ioved about pottery from day 1 was the way it focused my mind. Even when it wasn’t going well in those early days, I felt relaxed and rejuvenated every time I touched clay. It’s taught me to embrace all that is not perfect and just be the best you can be. Keep learning, trying and challenging yourself. Then repeat! Just like life really.Glaze Galleria was established to be able to share that “Clay Therapy” with my local community, in Canada Bay, as well as welcoming guests from further afield. The locals have shown us amazing support and we now also get students from all around Sydney. We have an amazing group of talented teachers and I’m proud of the community that we’ve created.
During our classes, you learn that the process is just important as the end result. You don’t have to be creative to get started. Give it a go - it’s an experience that you’ll always treasure!
