Collective Obsessions is all about creativity, we know how to draw out your creative side while showing you a variety of techniques under the guidance of our skilled artists.
Not only will we unveil a range of diverse techniques, such as the Dirty Pour, Swipe (in multiple ways) Tree Ring pour plus more but we'll also provide in-depth explanations on achieving the perfect mix for generating stunning cells.
With our guidance, you'll create beautiful pieces that you'll proudly display in your own home. Even if you consider yourself less artistically inclined, don't stress! This workshop is perfectly suited for you. Our step-by-step instructions and insider tips ensure that you'll achieve impressive results.
This class will cover:
- How to mix your paints and our paint mix ratio.
- Products and suppliers.
- How to choose colours.
- How to create beautiful cells and lacing in your pieces.
- How to utelise your paint wastage and tips for testing colour combinations.
During your two-hour class, you'll have the opportunity to create two 100mm coasters, a 20cm square canvas, and a 30cm square double-edge artist-quality canvas.
Rest assured, we provide all the necessary materials and supplies for a hassle-free experience. All you need to bring is your imagination and a willingness to learn. To add to the delight, we'll even provide light refreshments, snacks and nibbles to keep you energized and inspired throughout the workshop.
Your artwork
- Resin and acrylic artwork will take a few days to cure, you cannot take them with you on the day as they need time to dry and cure in a dust free flat space. We have designated drying cabinets for you.
- Collection is available generally 5-7 days after your workshop, depending on the weather and drying times.

- We don't recommend resin art classes for pregnant women.
- All our classes are suitable for beginners.

We recommend that you wear old clothes as resin doesn’t wash out, alcohol ink will stain and we don't want you getting acrylic paint on your favourite top! Please wear enclosed shoes as you will be creating in a working studio.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

- A refund can be requested 14 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$2.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
