Through both demonstration and hands-on experience, this class teaches the art of cutting, filleting, deboning, carving, selection, handling, sharpening, and preserving knives. Guided by a professional chef, you'll gain the skills needed to use kitchen knives with confidence and precision.
This hands-on workshop focuses on developing your cutting technique, helping you improve flavour and texture in every dish. Learn how to work with different types of knives and understand the best ways to store and maintain them.
Participants will practice a range of essential cutting techniques on vegetables, meat, chicken, and fish. Techniques include julienne, chiffonnade, slicing, boning, and filleting to provide a solid foundation in knife use. A certificate of attendance is awarded upon completion.
