From healing remedies to bold new flavours, you’ll uncover plants and practices that connect you to heritage, culture, and community. 

In just three one-hour sessions, you’ll learn how to grow more, eat more, and connect more with your garden – no matter your level of experience. 

Series Line-up: 

  • Wed 15 Oct, 7pm – Medicinal Plants – Caroline Parker  Discover how common garden plants can be powerful allies for health and wellbeing. 
  • Thu 23 Oct, 7pm – Australian Native Food Plants for Urban Gardeners – Karen Sutherland  Explore unique, resilient flavours and meet the native foods making their way into home gardens. 
  • Wed 29 Oct, 7pm – Culturally Diverse Crops – Chris Williams  Celebrate global traditions and unlock new tastes with plants from around the world.

  • Bookings are considered final once payment is made and no refunds will be given for non-attendance.
  • If there are insufficient numbers for an event it may be cancelled or postponed by SGA. If this is the case, you will be notified and given the option of either a full refund or a transfer to a different SGA event of equivalent value.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled starting time for registration and seating
