Time to Shine - Self expression.
Are you wanting to be creative but don't know where to begin? Are you fearful of making mistakes? Are you fearful of the blank canvas? Do you believe that you don't have any creative juice inside you? Is your work and/or life out of balance? Do you need to fill up your inner cup? If you answered YES to any of these questions, then this workshop is for you.
This one-day 6 hour workshop will enable you to be brave, show up, pull fear aside and trust the process. We use acrylic paint, a variety of tools and brushes, several painting surfaces and over the course of the day, we gently remove your fears, release your limiting beliefs, clear your blocks while being guided in a supportive, non-judgement and nurturing environment.
As an Artist and a Creative Coach I will guide you through a series of prompts with easy techniques for mark making, while we listen and trust our intuitive voice. The day is full of fun, joy and transformation.

Note: All supplies are provided: all painting surfaces (canvas, wood panels and paper), acrylic paint, brushes, tools, apron, rags, tea & coffee and snacks (please let me know if you have any food allergies).
Participants to bring: Lunch and a water bottle. Wear old clothes as paint doesn't always wash off!
At the end of the day, there is a take-home gift x

Your Teacher
This workshop is run by Cathy Schultz. She has been a practicing artist for over 30 years. She has been a practicing artist for over 30 years. She initially did many different modalities of art: printmaking, glass art, textiles, stitched illustration, surface pattern designs, mixed media, miniatures, screen printing and costume design & construction at WAAPA many moons ago.
Cathy has completed:
- Bachelor in Contemporary Art 2020.
- Internationally Certified Results Coach, Feb 2026.

- Graduate Printmaking award 2020
- Graduate Glass Art Residency (6 mths) 2020.

Cathy is very creative, oozes enthusiasm for being creative and sharing her knowledge. She believes we all have the creative muscle inside of us. It's about honouring it and enabling it to be expressed.

I offer one day art workshops for people who are fearful of starting, fear of the blank canvas, fear of making mistakes, work/life out of balance, feeling stuck, unable to make decisions and feeling overwhelmed. We focus on the process and not the outcome. I also offer 1-on-1 creative mentoring and 1-on-1 mindset 8 week coaching program.
I love to help people become creative in their own life and for creatives that are experiencing blocks in recommencing their art. I look forward to connecting with my tribe and having some fun along the way.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

- A refund can be requested 14 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$11.00 applies.
