Sourdough Bread Making Class
Join our sourdough bread making class in Melbourne. No prior baking experience required; you'll learn how to make delicious bread baked to perfection!
This comprehensive three hour workshop is designed to take you through all the steps from start to finish of preparing and baking a basic sourdough loaf at home. You will have hands-on experience behind the science behind each step, and all the essential equipment you'll need to bake sourdough at home.
At the end of the workshop, you'll have a jar of live sourdough starter, a couple of doughs that we worked on in the workshop to take home to bake on the same day or next day, a print-out booklet with all the details to refer back to when you bake at home.
Small class max 10 per class. You'll get all the attention for hands-on instructions and ask all the questions you have!
Please note:
For private sessions, you'll need to provide the space which has a kitchen with a standard oven, and a table for all the guests. Please get in touch to check availability before making a booking.

Fei runs a sourdough micro-bakery based in Mount Evelyn, it's a council approved bakery up and running since 2022 supplying the local IGA and other shops weekly with freshly baked artisan sourdough loaves. These classes are carefully designed and prepared to explain and give you the hands-on experience of each step of how to prepare and bake a sourdough loaf from home. Suits complete beginners, no prior baking experience required.

Sourdough microbakery based in Mount Evelyn VIC (3796), baking from a home bakery and supplying the local areas with freshly baked handcrafted artisan sourdough since 2022. Been running sourdough workshops since March 2023.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 14 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$10.00 applies.
- A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$10.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 14 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$10.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Munchen Bakery or organised by Munchen Bakery must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Munchen Bakery
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Munchen Bakery unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Munchen Bakery classes and events or on Munchen Bakery premises. (For use of Munchen Bakery marketing materials).
