What’s on the menu?
🍜 Pad Thai: A beloved noodle dish combining sweet, sour, and salty flavours with tofu, egg, bean sprouts, and tamarind sauce, topped with crushed peanuts and fresh lime.
🥗 Green Papaya Salad (Som Tam): A refreshing Thai salad of shredded green papaya, tomatoes, green beans, and peanuts, tossed with a zesty dressing of lime juice, chilli, palm sugar, and fish sauce.
🌿 Dietary Options Available: This masterclass can be made completely gluten free. Vegan and vegetarian options available also on request

You will learn
- Learn how to make two Thai favourites from scratch: classic Pad Thai and fresh green papaya salad. You’ll discover key Thai ingredients, preparation techniques and how to balance sweet, sour, salty and spicy flavours.

- All ingredients and cooking equipment are provided, along with hands-on guidance from our chef. Best of all, you’ll sit down and enjoy the Pad Thai and papaya salad you’ve made at the end of the class.

Malcolm Williams is Executive Chef across South Wharf Restaurants, bringing extensive hospitality experience and a practical, approachable style to the kitchen. He’s passionate about great produce, solid technique and making cooking enjoyable and accessible, whether he’s leading a restaurant service, developing menus or guiding guests through a hands-on cooking class.
