  • Student to bring functional loom, ready to be dressed with warp ie, with suitable reed, front and back apron rods lease / warp sticks
  • Student to bring material for separating warp on back beam, eg medium to heavy weight paper, warping strips, etc.
  • Students to bring own threading hook, reed hook, paper, pen /pencil, scissors stick or boat shuttles and small amount of weft yarn

You will learn

  • • How to wind a warp on a vertical and horizontal warping mill,
  • • How to dress the floor/table loom on your own
  • • How to dress the loom without a raddle & How to dress the loom with more than one warp

You will get

  • • Expert skills-based tuition, with a combination of demonstrations and hands-on experience.
  • • Students can bring their own looms and yarn to try out a small sample of the various techniques demonstrated.
  • • A set of notes for class and future reference

Those who have the basic understanding of how to wind a warp, and dress their own loom but would like to expand on the techniques to suit different situations.
