Temari balls are an exquisite form of Japanese folk art that blend embroidery, symmetry, and centuries-old tradition.
In this hands- on workshop, you’ll learn to create your own hand-embroidered Temari ball from a thread-wrapped base, transforming it into a stunning Christmas ornamental piece.
You will be provided with a kit of a hand wrapped ball that contains a bell, you can choose either gold or silver thread, and they will be marked with pins, ready to start stitching. Your Kit also has all threads, small beads as well as Swarovski beads. Some balls are wrapped dark green and others wrapped in pink thread. You will also take home notes with photos.
This workshop is perfect for anyone with an interest in learning something new, whether you're into textiles, embroidery, Japanese craft, or simply enjoy meditative handwork. No prior experience is required — just patience and curiosity!
