Description

As a special event for Children's Week, join one of our farmers for an Edendale farm tour where children will get to meet some of our farm animals. Children will have the opportunity to get up close with the animals, including feeding and patting them - this will include our chickens, goats, sheep and guinea pigs, and the ponies and alpacas are also part of the tour.

Please note as this is a children's activity, a parent or guardian must attend the workshop with the participating child/children to ensure supervision and safety.

While there is some parking available at the front of Edendale we would  encourage you to investigate some more sustainable transport options including:

Some overflow parking may be available at Eltham North playground. Plan your visit

Edendale is a Community Environment Farm on 6 hectares of land adjacent to the Diamond Creek in Eltham.

We are open 7 days a week 10am to 4.30pm. 

Entry to the farm is by Donation at one of our electronic tap points around the farm.

Along with our animals, indigenous plant nursery, school environmental education program, events and workshops, Edendale plays an important role as a hub for the local community to learn and share ideas about sustainable living, caring for nature and climate action.

We love Edendale Farm. The tour was great to get some extra information about the animals - especially information about the personalities of specific animals. We loved feeding and interacting with the baby goats the most.

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

OR

  • A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. Free of charge.
  • A transfer can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
  • A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.

No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Edendale Farm or organised by Edendale Farm must agree to these terms and conditions.

1. LIABILITY WAIVER

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Edendale Farm

2. PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Edendale Farm unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs, videos or recordings taken at Edendale Farm classes and events or on Edendale Farm premises. (For use of Edendale Farm marketing materials).

Photos and videos recordings will not be taken of children without written permission from parents or guardians.

3. CANCELLATIONS

In the event that a class is cancelled by Edendale Farm, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
