Welcome, writers of all ages! This virtual writing group, hosted by author Melissa Gijsbers, is the perfect way to build your writing skills.
What will you learn?
This online writing workshop is designed to help writers of all ages unlock creativity and discover the magical world of storytelling.
This workshop includes:
- support to develop your writing style and technique
- opportunities to meet other writers in an online writing club
- access to fun and inventive writing prompts
- answers to all your writing questions.
The Virtual Writers’ Group for All Ages helps students build creativity and confidence in a welcoming and supportive online environment. This program is designed to help you learn how to write great stories.
Who is Melissa Gijsbers?
Melissa is the author of many published books, including Swallow Me NOW!, Lizzy’s Dragon, and My Princess Wears a Superhero Cape. For over 10 years, Melissa has been running groups and programs for young writers for over 10 years and she loves creating fun writing prompts and helping young authors improve their reading and writing skills. She also works with adults, helping them discover how fantastic creative writing can be for mental health and wellbeing.

Melissa is an author and booklover. She believes that everyone has an inner bookwork and that reading and writing should be fun at every age. She also sees the mental health benefits in creative writing. She is on a mission to share this passion in memorable workshops and seminars.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.

Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Melissa Gijsbers or organised by Melissa Gijsbers must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Melissa Gijsbers
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Melissa Gijsbers unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Melissa Gijsbers classes and events or on Melissa Gijsbers premises. (For use of Melissa Gijsbers marketing materials).
3.) REFUNDS
Melissa Gijsbers requires 48 hours notice in writing prior to the class commencing for a refund, transfer or credit.
4.) CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled by Melissa Gijsbers, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
