Beginner’s Ceramic Workshop

Description

In this online workshop lead by Aoife Billings you will learn pinch pot techniques to make a cosy mug, and then decorate it with coloured slip by using fingers and household utensils. 

The workshop is 2hrs with time for a tea break in the middle.

Material kits will be mailed to you and include raku clay, a dry mixture of pigment and other ingredients to mix with water to create coloured slip! So please include your address upon booking! Bookings close one week before the class starts to allow for delivery, so book in quick!


This workshop is part of our Quarantine Club program hosted on zoom where all funds are all going towards keeping Pink Ember Studio going during Covid-19. There are tiered pricing for you to pay what you can afford.

Pink Ember Studio is an queer-run co-operative of artists, creating spaces for artists to make and sell work and be part of a community. We are a not-for-profit, encompassing: a retail store, studio spaces for artists, a gallery and creative workshops.

 LIABILITY WAIVE - Pink Ember will not be responsible for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property brought into Pink Ember’s premises.


PHOTO & VIDEO - Pink Ember has unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Pink Ember classes and events or on Pink Ember’s premises. (Let us know on the day if you don’t want to be photographed)

  • If for any reason we have to cancel a class, we will provide the customer with a full refund or credit to attend another workshop.
