Description

Despite popular perception, pruning is not just a job for winter. Most fruit trees benefit from a summer prune and will reward your hard work with good health and great harvests.

Join Paul Gale-Baker from Macleod Organic Community Garden as he demonstrates summer pruning techniques and answers all of your pruning questions. Paul will explain why summer pruning is important and discuss the best pruning times for common fruit tree varieties.

A great event, my first at SGA. The host was warm and welcoming. The setting in the community garden was delightful. The presenters gave both theory and practical experiences with attention to gardeners’ concerns. Would have loved it to be half an hour longer! The time flew. Well done
