Inspired by the colonial history of the subcontinent and the unique identity of modern India, this is a session designed by Sydney Cocktail Club in collaboration with whisky educators Dramnation, to create an afternoon of bespoke high tea inspired cocktails & delightful drams - all centred around the award-winning Paul John Whisky.
This session is suitable for beginners right through to serious appreciators (from 18+ through to 80+ years of age). You will be welcomed with a cocktail on arrival, before being guided through a flight of whiskies with matching cocktails - all centred around demonstrating how whisky can be enjoyed as an afternoon tipple.
You will also have the opportunity of discovering why Paul John whiskies are winning rave reviews in the whisky world, and how India is fast becoming one of the whisky producing countries to watch. High tea inspired finger food will be served throughout to complete the occasion. If you’ve ever thought of whisky as an old man’s drink, should only be made in Scotland or is something to only be drunk in front of a fire after dinner, this session will blow those perceptions out of the water!

Sydney Cocktail Club was founded to provide a platform for drinks enthusiasts in Sydney, to meet up and indulge their thirst for learning about all things spirits and cocktails.
Our goal is simple: connect like-minded imbibers in a social setting, and provide an avenue for those who love their drinks, and a chance to discover more about the stuff that goes into their libation of choice.
There's plenty of events out there targeted at improving knowledge within the trade, and the aim of the club is to bring some of these events to the discerning consumer - from beginners through to the intermediate and the advanced. We're not driven by the marketing agenda of any particular brand and are simply here to spread the love of alcoholic spirits, from the ever popular ones such as gin through to the obscure.
