Cross Stitch Your Own Family Portrait with Threadfolk

Description

If this is not the most delightful and darling idea we have come across, we want to know what is!

Calling all those who want to capture their unique family unit in a charming and modern take on the (sometimes dreaded) family portrait. Libby from ‘Threadfolk’ will liase with you personally, to create the perfect wee image of you and your beloveds. Libby will then travel from Sydney to Melbourne to personally teach you (in a workshop environment) how to cross-stitch this gorgeous image. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, you will be the ‘favourite’ once again by giving the gift every Mother would love to receive - a memorable, and handmade piece of art capturing the essence of her heart… awwwww, goosebumps are making us shiver with delight!

This workshop will require some prep work on your behalf - once you have booked a place in this workshop (numbers are strictly limited), we will be in touch in order for you to organise your portrait with Libby - you will be asked to send a couple of family photo options as reference. She will then bring your approved family portrait template to Melbourne, where we will all finally meet up to cross-stitch our hearts away! Please note bookings will close one week before this workshop to allow time for your pattern to be made.

Libby will also make herself available via email after the workshop with any hitches or stitches you may need help with!

The cross stitch your family portrait class held at the Windsor Workshop in Windsor Melbourne was a wonderful workshop. It was set out beautifully with stunning table arrangement of flowers and tea cups and petals and other ornaments. We were all greeted by staff and shown to our seats. We got a bag of goodies from Libby at Threadfolk so we could do our cross stitch. The class was well thought and had a good balance of group and one on one help. Libby was lovely. Lunch was served and was a pleasant surprise of sandwiches dips cheeses and drinks. Everything beautifully presented. Would go back for more!!
