The studio provides all tools including fabric shears, pinking shears, thread snips, unpickers, hand needles, tape measures, pins, tailor's chalk, hem guides, and ironing equipment. Level 2 (✄✄) uses the SwimStyle Pearl Pants pattern, which includes flowing front pleats, back darts, belt loops, and pockets—suitable for sewers with prior experience or those confident tackling more detailed projects. Both courses are 9 hours total.

In 6 hours, you'll master sewing with knit fabrics including needle selection, stretch stitch techniques, and troubleshooting common issues like skipped stitches and wavy seams. You'll complete a handmade T-shirt during the course. The workshop covers fabric behaviour, proper machine settings, and walks through solutions if you've experienced problems with knits previously. You'll receive course notes to take home.

This workshop is limited to just 4 participants for personalised attention. You bring unfinished projects, ill-fitting garments, or beloved items needing repair. Your teacher provides tailored guidance on techniques like taking in or letting out seams, adding darts, repairing hems and tears, replacing zippers and buttons, visible mending, appliqué, and patching. If you don't have a garment, you can still attend to learn specific techniques.

FreeStyle Sessions are kept to a maximum of 6 participants. Each station includes a sewing machine, overlocker, steam generator iron, shears, and cutting tools. You have full access to the cutting room, drafting tables, and a well-stocked collection of tools and gadgets. These fortnightly sessions are self-directed—you bring your project and use the dedicated space and teacher support as needed for your specific work.
