There are several pattern pieces, great new techniques and details, this is a great choice if you have made a few garments like; a simple shirt, a pair of pants, our Sigma Dress, A Line Skirt with Princess Seams, or similar.  Trying a detailed pattern like this for the first time with a teacher will bring you confidence, help you overcome challenges and create a wonderful shirt.

Students will use overlockers, sew pleats, set in a sleeve, apply interfacing, finish with welt seams, stitch narrow hems, make buttonholes and sew on buttons.

If you are thinking about doing this course, do it!! Really enjoyed the process, the flexibility and the way this course was taught. You are given the opportunity to learn the way that suits you. Plus you learn how to make your own shirt.

A hands-on, well documented course. I enjoyed making this pattern, and I'm sure I will enjoy wearing the shirt (blouse!). It was well paced and plenty of time was given to achieve each week's goals, plus the option to do homework after class. A great class for men as there is the option to make a man's shirt too.
