Sew a Sleeveless Shell Top

Book Now (http://weteachme.com/l/uZpEY7wr)

In this Shell Top Workshop, you can choose from the Simple style or the Adelle style. The Simple Shell has bust darts, the Adelle has a yoke which allows you to feature contrasting fabrics. Made over five hours, both variations are sleeveless, have round necks and features a box pleat in the back.

With only a few pattern pieces, either style is a great choice if you are looking to make your first garment and have taken our Sewing Basics Course (or similar).

Both tops have simple designs, are sleeveless and have a rounded neck. While making the top you will learn to use overlockers to finish fabric edges, sew bust darts and sew an all in one facing.

14 June 2019 • Sew a Sleeveless Shell Top

The shell top course is great. I used it to learn how to make a basic pleat and self facing. The trick with rolling to make the facing was great and couldn’t be learned from a pattern. Slowly my sewing skills are improving. I’m making more of my own clothes

That magic roll! You'll be able to use it on so many patterns, no need to have two part facings that flick up and out of place ever again.

Thank you for taking the time to write your lovely review. Check you inbox for a little gift from us in thanks.

This class was great and I have a fantastic new top to wear. I can't wait to get into making another one. I loved using the interfacing and see it all come together. So much fun turning flat fabric into a 3D item I can wear
