Over 100 people have attended this class

Description

Want to have a play with clay? Grab a glass and pull up a chair for Wine & Design!

Join us for some end-of-the-week relaxation by learning to channel your creativity with explorative handbuilding. With explorative handbuilding, we will focus on the textures, form, and sensations of the clay while experimenting with a few classic hand-building techniques! This class is a great intro into hand-building with clay, or if you have some experience, your instructor can help you with more complex techniques.

This playful and relaxing experience is great for everyone - whether you consider yourself creative or not! After you're finished sculpting your piece(s), we will fire and glaze your work for you to pick up.

Some examples of pieces you can create:

Mug

Plate

Small Vase

Incense holder

Jewellery holder

Sculptural piece

Plant pot

Relax and unwind with some groovin' tunes, a bit of wine, and prepare to get your hands dirty.

Class fee includes a glass or two of wine, all the materials, and 1-2 pieces of ceramics made by you!

This was a great class. I wanted to make a pottery base for an irregularly shaped plant pot and this was the perfect opportunity.
