Cassandra Gill is an independant Printmaker and Jeweler based on the Mornington Peninsula and spliting her time in her small studio in Brisbane. In 2014 she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours, majoring in Printmaking. With her background of the fine print, mark making onto metal is second nature and has become a focus of her practice. Incurably curious about travel and the natural world her works seeks to define identity in the fragile and transient nature of memory on the surface of objects, her unique jewelry and print business reflects this. Her work takes her across Australia and the globe to search for exciting adventures and places as source for inspiration. Over the last three years she has spent much time in the Northern Territory on community print and creative projects as well as studio print assistant to Australian artist John Wolseley on large scale print projects.
