Clandestino Roasters

Vendor since 2015

We love coffee, we also love people who love coffee.

At Clandestino Roasters our passion (some would say obsession) is coffee. We roast our own beans and supply many amazing cafes with our meticulously crafted coffee. We train in modern contemporary coffee making to suit our style of roasting, this is also know as Third Wave Coffee.

Coffee is now a destination product, people choose with their pallet and are willing to travel. A cafe without great coffee is a cafe without love. As craft roasters we are now unlocking nuances of coffee we have never tasted or achieved before. Never has the choice of coffee bean and extraction parameters been so important for a cafe to gain the upper hand over their competitor.

We have a winning formula, and we are willing to share it with you.

Our training courses are designed the same way as we train our wholesale clients. Our methods have been tried and tested with individuals from the beginner home coffee maker through to the professional barista.  Our attention to detail is second to none and our emphasis on consistency will ensure the results are achieved with minimal wastage.

Training takes place in our roastery. We invite you behind the scenes to learn our craft.

This basic barista course was a ball I learned a lot of techniques of how to serve and prepare coffee. Understanding how to grind coffee and texture milk properly was the highlight of this course. I highly recommend this course for anyone that is wanting a job in a cafe.

Well where to start with this course. It was absolutely everything that we imagined it would be. It was held in our favorite coffee shop in Noosa. We were so thankful for Michael. He was a great communicator, great teacher and just made me and my wife feel really at home during the whole 2 hours. It was exactly what it said on the website. We learn't so many techniques with tampering, with steaming the milk. The right amount of coffee to extract from the grinder for the perfect shot. Michael also spoke us through how the weather and humidity can change the taste of the beans. This information was amazing and a true eye opener and lesson. The speed of the course was great. We had a lot of information given to us but it was in bite size chunks. Me and my wife left the morning feeling really happy and like we achieved a lot. We left feeling really inspired so we went home, made a great cup of coffee with our bag of beans and shared our highlights of the morning together. I have a huge passion for coffee and hope to one day own my own coffee shop. This course gave me the determination to work towards that goal and to work every day on my barista skills. Thank you Michael and thank you Clandestino for your hospitality and great service. Sean & Fiona Tiernan.
