Stained Glass for Beginners

Learn to make stunning leadlight panels in this hands-on stained glass course for beginners. You’ll practice essential techniques such as glass cutting, leading, soldering, and panel finishing using cement and polish. Taught by an expert with over 20 years of stained glass experience, this course offers both demonstrations and practical application, guiding you toward completing your custom glass panel.

Your course project should not exceed 450mm x 450mm due to space limitations. Some students may need to do homework based on design complexity. While all levels are welcome, this course excludes techniques like copper foiling, kiln-fired glass, or painting on glass.

Course Outline

  • Weeks 3–8: Design, cut, assemble, and polish your own leadlight panel.
