Come and join us at this Children's week celebration of the Diamond Creek and the wildlife it supports. There will be activities suitable for 3 to 12 years old. A fun action packed 2 hours includes:
- Book launch and with local multi-award-winning creators reading from Vikki Conley (author) and (author) Jedda Robaard (illustrator) of with their new book "Where the Rriver Rruns Ffree". This activity includes story time, puppets and a draw- along activity.
- Creative corner โ river poetry and craft
- Native fish tanks and chats with Native Fish Australia
- Water bug activities with the Yarra River Keeper
- Platypus Jenga
- Platypus quest
- Meet a platypus ecologist - Josh Griffiths
- Melbourne Water activities - Meet Splash the Platypus โ a taxidermy friend who helps kids discover platypus secrets!
- Popup bookstore by Eltham Book Shop
This event is free, but please register if you would like to attend as this helps us organise the day
If you intend to drive, please consider parking at the Eltham North Adventure Playground, walk across the Diamond Creek bridge to Edendale's north pedestrian entrance.

Edendale Farm
Edendale is a Community Environment Farm on 6 hectares of land adjacent to the Diamond Creek in Eltham.
We are open 7 days a week 10am to 4.30pm.
Entry to the farm is by Donation at one of our electronic tap points around the farm.
Along with our animals, indigenous plant nursery, school environmental education program, events and workshops, Edendale plays an important role as a hub for the local community to learn and share ideas about sustainable living, caring for nature and climate action.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
Youโre welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Edendale Farm or organised by Edendale Farm must agree to these terms and conditions.
1. LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Edendale Farm
2. PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Edendale Farm unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs, videos or recordings taken at Edendale Farm classes and events or on Edendale Farm premises. (For use of Edendale Farm marketing materials).
Photos and videos recordings will not be taken of children without written permission from parents or guardians.
3. CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled by Edendale Farm, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
