Your Teacher
Tanya Bearup is a Therapeutic Horticulture Practitioner, horticulturalist and qualified social worker with 25 years of experience working in child/youth and family services as well as disability and aged care. Through her business My Garden Space, Tanya works with individuals and groups of all ages and abilities, utilising gardening and outdoor nature-based activities to promote participants' physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. She works along-side individuals and groups to support them on their gardening journey in whatever space they may have -from a kitchen window to a back yard to a shared community garden. Tanya is also a passionate advocate of Therapeutic Horticulture and is Vice-President of Therapeutic Horticulture Australia, regularly undertaking public speaking engagements as an educator of Therapeutic Horticulture and for the advancement of the practice in Australia.

- Bookings are considered final once payment is made and no refunds will be given for non-attendance.
- If there are insufficient numbers for an event it may be cancelled or postponed by SGA. If this is the case, you will be notified and given the option of either a full refund or a transfer to a different SGA event of equivalent value.
