Come along and learn the traditional craft of button making. We will be learning two types of buttons, Dorset and Yorkshire buttons. Buttons are made on a ring or woven on a small button loom. All supplies required will be provided. Just bring along your enthusiasm and some nimble fingers and you will go home with at least two completed buttons.

Your Teacher

Helen is a textile maker, dabbling in embroidery, lace making, spinning and weaving. She loves all things textile and will happily play with anything she can get my hands on. Helen loves lost trades and is committed to ensuring they are not lost. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm with others so they too can get lost in the mystique.

You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

  • A refund can be requested 7 days before class starts. Free of charge.
  • A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
