This 2.5hr ceramic workshop explores hand building techniques that will allow you to create your own unique pottery vessel. You will be guided through the foundations of hand building and encouraged to explore your own creativity in a welcoming environment.
Using techniques such as pinching , coiling and joining, you will gain the skills to create a functional pottery piece that will be glazed and fired after completion. These techniques can be used for pottery vessels such as mugs, vases and bowls.
This workshop also aims to help people to connect to their creativity and to play, all whilst having fun getting messy with clay!
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed in shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty!
You will be able to collect your finished piece 3 -4 weeks after the workshop, once it has been glazed and fired.
No prior experience is necessary! This pottery workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to include more creativity in their lifestyle!
No shows will not be refunded, as we are a not for profit, any transfer of classes will incur a $10 fee to cover admin staff time.

Little Woods Studio is the open-to-the-public offshoot of the Artful Dodgers Studios, a not-for-profit art and music space providing holistic support for young people living under challenging circumstances. All profits from workshops held at Little Woods go towards helping fund Artful Dodgers Studios.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

No changes will be allowed after these times.

Terms & Conditions
We require 2 week notice in writing (email) prior to the class commencing for a full refund or transfer. In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via text message or email and will be given a full refund. No shows will not be refunded.
