What would happen if your pet was injured? Do you really know how to tell the difference between slightly unwell and needs immediate attention? This course teaches you to measure vital signs of life in pets, bandage a bleeding wound, perform CPR on an animal, and maintain safety while working with an injured pet.
Our programs are tailored for those wanting to enter the animal industry or already working within this field, as well as helping people to increase skills with their own pets.
I recently attended this class and found it informative and enjoyable. While only a 3-hour introduction to the topic, it provided a lot of practical advice on what to be aware of and how to deal with some common situations where pet first aid is required. I particularly enjoyed the 5 hands-on work stations where we practiced some basic first aid, with advice from the instructors. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and responded to questions on all manner of animal/pet first aid issues.
